Are Emotional Affairs more damaging than Physical Affairs (1694 hits)

When we think of affairs we look at the physical. There are so many people who believe they are not having an affair, we are just friends. We connect on so many levels. They understand me. They feel my pain, my passion, my desires. The ties that bind us up. The emotional affairs of my heart. The one who sees me in every aspect. It's like 3-D. They know me. My spouse only looks pass me. Some how we have forgotten to stop!!! and pay attention. To really hear what is going on in the heart of a being. We breath and they take it for granted. But when I think the other hears me loud and clear. That cord that wraps me up. These are the powerful emotions that are conjured up when we are in an emotional affair. They touch deep within the core of our being. You ponder the thoughts of what if.... Can you be emotionally divorced? How can you put that back together. The shattered heart thumping in my chest. A sigh of relief when my lover, oh I meant my friend called. I dress each morning like it is my first date. Even though we would never, never ever.... I wonder!
