Where did the time go? (353 hits)

Hello Members new and old just Sun here...just wanted to update you on a few things. I sincerely apologize for neglecting you. My schedule has been hectic the last couple weeks.
Greater Southwest Black Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its Grand Opening Feb 21st in Dallas Texas. Just fyi...
I write editorials for GSWBCC, that's my new thing.

Also, my first book will be on the shelves this summer. The title is sort of a secret but I can tell you its a self help book for the "young, brilliant and somewhat crazy". It is set to be a best seller.

ENTER THE CONFESSIONAL:
I must admit a secret: I have been afraid of success my whole life. I have always struggled with self confidence. FEAR has ruled me ever since I entered kindergarten. Success was scary. I thought with success comes more responsibility and others act differently towards you once you attain it. "I was blind but now I see" SUCCESS is a good thing.

The more successful you are the more you inspire others around you. You become a light in the darkness. You become a role model, a hero...you become great...and how could I not want that? It is daunting but hey its must be done. We must realize our potential We must show the world how top notch we are. We must not hide behind Normal. Throw Normal to the curb. We must be happy and the only way to achieve true happiness is to win in life and live at the top not the bare minimum of you capabilities.

There's a song by a married duo named Kindred. I l love the chorus
"Fly! be an angel if you got to, take the stars above, put em in your pocket and hold em, bring em back for me..."

The wife sings this to her husband and it is basically saying, "Baby, go for it"; live your dreams then share the joy of your experience with me. If you love someone you will not be satisfied with them living a "barely there" ordinary boring existence. I cannot accept that. I will not accept that which we have been trained to be. I refuse to be normal. I demand to be me. A wise man once said "to thine own self be true" and I truly believe that that is the only way to achieve true happiness.

Would you like to ENTER THE CONFESSIONAL? Do you have something to declare today? Please share.
