To get started on your first BESTSELLER; Start writing an outline NOW. Write titles for each chapter then write out what type of information would be included in that chapter.
For example:
Chapter One: What you don't know can hurt you
-Billy, 23, adopted, a loner, discovers his long lost sibling, Mike, online
-The sibling is his twin brother
-They meet and are very excited
-They go play golf together
Chapter Two: Dead men rise
-Many relatives who Billy haven't seen since he was a kid call to greet Mike
-The relatives treat Mike like a king
-Billy gets jealous
Chapter 3: Am I my Brother's Keeper?
-Billy plots against Mike
-Mike makes secret plans to throw Billy a surprise birthday party
-Billy hires a hit man
-When the hit man shows up at Mike's house, the crowd shouts "Surprise!"
-Billy's hit man walks in and starts shooting at Mike
Chapter 4:Make Me a Believer
-The crowd jumps on the hit man and wrestles him down
-Billy shows up
-The cops arrive and the hit man tells them the truth about Billy
-Mike convinces the cops that the hit man is lying on Billy so the cops only arrest the hit man
-Mike, Billy and the family decide to go on with the party
-Billy gets drunk and tells Mike the truth
-Mike is shocked
-They fight
-But Mike decides to forgive Billy afterwards
Ch. 5; Old pals
-Mike and Billy go golfing together
-They never get jealous or fight each other again
-they get married to really nice women and their families remain close
